Lady Gaga performed her Born This Way single “Hair” without any on The Paul O’Grady Show, as the singer debuted a shaved-headed look on the British chat show on Friday.
With smoke and fire surrounding her, a bald Gaga belts her way through the song with a turquoise wig sitting on a bust atop her piano. Halfway through the performance, Gaga takes off her Chanel sunglasses and put on the wig for a rapturous conclusion.

At the beginning of the interview that follows, O’Grady remarks that a lot has changed for the pop star since he saw her three years ago. “Yes. And I have less hair,” she replies.
Shortly after video of the performance was posted on YouTube, the phrase “Bald Gaga” started trending on Twitter. “Tonight HAUS OF GAGA is taking over Paul O’Grady in the UK! I’m performing 5 songs and a very special performance art piece,” Gaga wrote on Twitter earlier Friday.

“Hair” is one of two songs that includes sax riffs from Clarence Clemons, who suffered a stroke last weekend in Florida. Gaga tweeted Monday, “Little monsters, my very close friend + musician on ‘The Edge of Glory’ Clarence Clemons is very sick. Can we all make some get-well videos?”
