FBI Meets With Shelly Moores Family About Death Threats (Report)

The FBI has met with the family of Big Brother contestant Shelly Moore to discuss death threats made to them via phone and email after she voted to evict fan favorite Jeff Schroeder from the contest.

A number of the calls received by Moore’s family targeted her young daughter, and the Season 13 contestant’s employer had received threatening phone calls as well.

However, the Feds determined that there was no “credible” threat to the family’s well-being after reviewing the information, reports TMZ.

Big Brother executive producer Alison Grodner told fans via Twitter that engaging with contestants’ families was wrong, “No matter how much you dislike an HG, this is wrong! True BB fans do not try to ruin lives. Please stop!”

Last Thursday, Moore aligned with “dynamic duo” Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd for most of the game but then flipped allegiances prior to the live show — which led to Schroeder’s unexpected eviction.

On Sunday’s episode, the blow-up between Schroeder and Moore was shown (it took place on Thursday and was referred to by host Julie Chen), with Schroeder telling Moore that he didn’t appreciate her playing both sides of the house, telling him that she was just exploring her options. “You’ve got lots of options, you’ve got deals with everyone in the house,” Schroeder declared.

He was evicted 3-2 after HOH Kalia broke the tie. (Moore was one of the houseguests who voted to evict him.)
